Business website design for Eastleigh companies

When someone hears about your business, a website gives them somewhere to check the details. They may want to understand a particular service, see the area you cover, compare costs or work out how to ask for a quote. If those answers are missing, the visit can end without an enquiry.

Our small business website design service is for businesses in Eastleigh and the surrounding Hampshire area that need help organising that information. We start with the questions your customers ask before they choose a provider. The design and page structure follow those questions, so the site has a clear purpose.

You do not need a complicated website to explain a focused service. You do need accurate information, comfortable reading sizes and an obvious next step. We agree the essentials before adding features. That keeps the first build manageable and gives you a clear basis for future changes.

What our business website design includes

A standard build includes a responsive design, the agreed pages, hosting, HTTPS and an enquiry route. The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktop screens. We plan the main navigation and contact options so visitors do not have to search through the whole site to find them.

The content explains your actual services, who they are for and the places you work. A five-page site might include a homepage, services, about, useful examples and contact. That is a possible structure, rather than a fixed requirement: if a pricing page is more useful than a gallery, we discuss that while planning.

Business includes help shaping the website copy from your brief. You provide the facts, service details and any existing material. We organise and write the agreed content, then ask you to review it. Claims about qualifications, results, prices and availability need your confirmation before they appear publicly.

You can supply photographs of your business or work where you have permission to use them. If you need new photography or paid imagery, that cost is agreed separately. A first website can still be clear and useful without pretending that illustrative designs are completed customer projects.

Website prices and monthly costs

Starter is designed for a focused one-page website. It costs £99 setup and £39 per month, with a minimum of twelve months from launch. The total for the first year is £567. The page can introduce the business, explain the main service, answer essential questions and provide a contact route.

Business provides up to five pages. It costs £199 setup and £59 per month, with a twelve-month minimum and a first-year total of £907. Separate pages give you more room to explain services and give visitors the information they need before enquiring.

Starter includes up to fifteen minutes of small edits each month; Business includes up to thirty. The allowance covers suitable small content changes and does not roll over. Bigger additions, extra pages and new functionality are scoped separately. Read the complete package inclusions and first-year costs.

The written quote confirms the total payable, tax treatment and any third-party charges before you decide. Domains, email mailboxes, premium assets or external booking subscriptions may have separate costs. A package price should make the decision easier, not leave you guessing about the final bill.

Our website design and build process

First, send a brief description of the business and what you need from the website. Include your services, coverage area and any existing website address. We clarify the pages and functionality, identify the information needed and agree the scope and price.

Next, we plan the content and design. You see a private preview rather than a half-finished public website. That gives you a chance to check the page flow, wording, images and contact details. We use the agreed feedback process to bring the build towards a finished version.

Before launch, we check the mobile layout, page links and enquiry journey. We also agree the domain connection and any existing services that need to keep working. If you already have a site and useful pages will move, the changeover needs a redirect plan. That work is discussed before the launch date is set.

After launch, hosting and the monthly edit allowance continue under the agreed plan. You can request suitable small updates as your business changes. A new booking system or a substantial redesign needs a separate quote, so both sides know what is involved.

Built to explain your services to search engines

The main website content is delivered as static HTML. Descriptive page titles, headings, links and appropriate structured information help explain what each page is about. A sitemap lists the public pages intended for indexing, and the website uses a consistent canonical domain.

Search-friendly foundations cannot guarantee a top position or a fixed number of enquiries. Competition, the relevance of your content, reputation and links also matter. We distinguish the initial build from an ongoing SEO campaign, which needs its own objectives, scope and measurement.

Your local information should describe the places you actually serve. We can explain Eastleigh coverage alongside Chandler’s Ford, Bishopstoke and Fair Oak where relevant to the business. See the areas covered by our website design service.

Is a new website the right next step?

If your current site is accurate and easy to use, a smaller improvement may be enough. If it is difficult to update or no longer reflects your services, a new build may give you a clearer structure. We discuss the practical options once we understand what is there.
